Cradled in a nook of the Charleston harbor, The Hippodrome provides majestic, off-peninsula views with the convenience of a downtown location. Large, contemporary windows bathe two stories of gathering space in natural light, while the 150-year-old brick exposures offer a warm reminder of the building's rich history as a Charleston Institution.
Once the hub of a successful supply store for salty seafarers and later converted into an impressive Theater housing the 2nd largest screen in South Carolina, The Hippodrome now hosts celebrations for the whole community including performing arts events, parties, business meetings, receptions, and other occasions as infinite as your imagination.
